Oh look, more "war on women" nonsense from the party that has destroyed health care in America. Yawn.
And yes, domestic violence is a serious issue. It's too bad Democrat voters don't wake up and realize they're suffering from it at the hands of the fools they vote for.
Oh look. The Media Matters Thought Police dug up a whopper on a small fry.
Yawn.
You nitwits go ahead and keep pushing this string. The rest of us are more interested in how we are going to take the president's advice about cutting household expenses to afford the ACA.
You know what they say? "Simple minds are easily amused!"
Its not faux anything. Its just that as is clear from your responses you don't see domestic violence as a serious issue and don't think it is as important as Obama and the Florida special election. Which is why you continue to try and hijack this thread.
Just admit that you don't really care what happens to domestic violence victims so long as it doesn't effect your anti-Obama crusade.
Domestic violence is a LOCAL issue. Quit trying to make federal case out of everything.
Domestic violence is none of the federal government's business.
Go read Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution and report here where you find the specific power that allows Congress to pass such legislation.
Good luck.
VAWA is constitutional. Article 1 clearly gives the congress the power to spend to promote the general welfare. It also allows the government to control immigration, part of VAWA.
If VAWA was unconstitutional it would be struck down. The simple fact is that many on the right don't view domestic violence as an important issue.
