I really did not want to know this....Civilization was pretty great while it lasted, wasn't it? Too bad it's not going to for much longer. According to a new study sponsored by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, we only have a few decades left before everything we know and hold dear collapses. The study is nonsense. It's predicated on something that does not exist, namely "Income Inequality."

There's a thread on the IMF and the unreal "Income Inequality."

Because the OP was deceptive and didn't bother mentioning the whole premise is nonsense, since nothing unreal exists.
Economically....
Most of the "new" species that are found are not really new, they are newly discovered species..Big difference..... As for extinctions it is estimated by experts to be between 1,000 and 10,000 times higher than the natural extinction rate.
I love it when some "expert" gives an "estimate" and suddenly it becomes a legitimate reason for folks to yell and scream about how we need to make "changes".
Sure we make an impact on our planet, but so does the wild life, the weather, the sun, etc. I think I will keep on living my life and let the experts estimate how much "giving a damn" I am doing.
More reason we need to end foreign end and invest the money in space travel/lunar colonization..
