Assistant Professor Chao-Lin Kuo surprises Professor Andrei Linde with evidence that supports cosmic inflation theory. The discovery, made by Kuo and his colleagues at the BICEP2 experiment, represents the first images of gravitational waves, or ripples in space-time. These waves have been described as the "first tremors of the Big Bang."
Agreed with what nvxplorer said above. I'm a staunch creationist, but I also firmly believe in the big bang and evolution. To me, they are simply the tools that God used in creation. Since nothing can yet prove or disprove what occurred before the big bang, it is therefore currently impossible to say that God was not in fact the creator.
These gravity waves deal with what happened after the big bang.
The big bang and evolution are not different words for the same thing.
If you don't understand that these deal with 2 entirely different things, then you have demonstrated why those who champion creation are entirely unsuited to anything scientific. You don't even understand the difference between the two topics...how can you even debate them?
IMO, prof of The Big Bang Theory is supportive of a created system. Our world looks much more like a created design rather than random happenstance. SO I'm inclined to believe more that a "God" or some very intelligent Being(s) created this universe.

Randomness has the capabilities of creating systems if given enough chances. It's called the Improbable Probability. Google "the law of inevitability" and "theories of large numbers."

The world is designed...by physics, chemistry, and biology. The reason things look and act as they do is explained by actions of the elements and forces of the universe. We figure out what is designed by looking at what is not designed. We can see solar systems being formed in the universe by natural processes, we don't see jet planes being formed anywhere. We have experiments in labs that show the building blocks of life being formed, and we can see those same building blocks in other places in the universe (like Titan, Europa, and even in the light spectrums of exoplanets).
People used to say that thunder was the product of the Gods. Then we figured out how thunder worked.
People used to say electricity was the realm of the Gods. We figured out how it worked and use it to power our society.
Sickness used to be the result of demons and bad blood. Now we understand micro-organisms, genetic abnormalities, and physical problems.
People used to say that God popped the world into existance, and we were alone. Now we can see systems forming, and there are many systems in the universe...almost more than can be counted!
People use "God" as a substitute for we don't know. People use "God" as a crutch for the big unknown that scares them. The real God should not be ignorance, or fear, God should be caring and compassion. If God created the universe or not, or if God exists in the universe to help life, doesn't matter to me...but science brings us knowledge of how this universe works.
If science just had one answer, God did it, we would be stuck in the stone ages still.
