Yeh, OK, the GOP has some crazies in the tea party, and sure, Bob McDonnell got into some grey areas with ethics laws, and of course, some GOPers got caught having sex with other men while preaching an anti gay agenda (which isn't illegal btw)

But this is just the tip of the iceberg for the Democrats. 2014 is looking very grim right now. Democrats are, indeed, the worst political party.

The Reagan White House was the most corrupt White House in American history.

The GW Bush White House told 935 documented lies about Iraq, attacked Iraq for nothing, and then D. Cheney gave his corporation Haliburton billions of dollars in no-bid US government contracts in Iraq.

And the republicans are a bunch of CEO's and they are the kings of lying.

Republicans lie and say tax cuts for corporations increase government revenues (but 100% of respected economists say they don't.)

Republicans lie and say man made global warming is a hoax, they say this lie because if we combat global warming large corporations will loose money (but 97% of climate scientists say global warming is real.)

The republicans lie and say Social Security is running out of money (so they can privatize SS and divert the money to Wall Street corporations.)

Thank God Romney did not get elected, he was going to add the following $6.6 trillion dollars to our national debt, and give our CEO's the funds to build more US factories in China.

They are both corrupt... but the GOP is destructively corrupt. The democrats are at least sane (and a bit naive) in their doings.

I don't trust a Republican politician with a potato gun, let alone our children's future, the nations finances, or our military.

GOP goals:

Repeal minimum wage
Repeal health care reform
Destroy all unions
Cut taxes on the 1%
Cut social security, medicaid, and medicare
Cut out unemployment benefits
Abolish welfare and food stamps
Ban abortions
Protect businesses from discrimination lawsuits
Destroy environmental regulations
Cut funding to public education and public transportation

It is such an admirable list of goals...

That's not the point. What is "legal" through technicality is not the best interest of the country. Cutting taxes on the rich is the reason our national deficit got so bad to begin with.

He never said it was, but would you want someone running the country that is in favor of giving their buddies tax breaks to build factories in China. If so, then Shady Mittens was your guy.

There are more Democrats than Republicans, so if both parties are equally corrupt, there will be more corrupt Democrats.

Someone complains of people listening to "biased" sources and then proceeds to grace us with a ThinkProgress link. Hilarious!

That may be true, but people end up changing their minds and positions at times. For example, I voted for Obama, but I realize the error of my ways. (At least with a semi-reasonable candidate like Romney where I would be comfortable sitting out; if Bachmann, Perry, or Santorum was the Republican nominee I would still have voted for Obama today.) It's possible that VTHokieFan has changed his mind.

Nevertheless, he and a couple of other young, libertarian-minded posters claim to not like either Republicans or Democrats, but it's clear that their dislike towards Democrats is far stronger. They also tend to be the posters that claim they have nothing against gay people or gay marriage, yet rub it in about how straight, normal, and macho they are with all of their guns and stuff, and blatantly mock transgender people as "freaks." Okay, like I'm really going to believe that you don't have a problem with the LGBT groups....
