I'm not so sure. I think maybe if incorporated. Or at worst one can pay premiums with pre-tax dollars.

Local or state, I agree. Federal could be from new money creation/deficit spending. New money paid for our 2 recent wars. GM bailout, etc. There is no new or separate tax to pay for those, and others.

I'd say it was a good thing that we had the best economists in the world.
Like Simon Kuznets. There are still those that understand the nature of our fiat.

Without them we would have lost WW2.

Instead we rule the world, a large part due to the USD and our National Debt.

Nixon just made it much easier.

NP....

I have filed that way since 1993 and it all depends on how you file.

I only have to file once a year since I never show a profit.

Hmmm, my doctor is accepting my brand new for the first time in near 9 years health insurance through the ACA and the docs at the hospital I work at part time are also accepting ACA health insurance.

I have not heard of a hospital not accepting Blue Cross insurance.
ACA does not sell policies. ACA directs you to an insurance company.
You get your subsidy, or tax, come April 15 next year, or now if you pay quarterly.

No, what you are simply saying is you want more free services. Instead you should be asking how can I get out of poverty.
