Does someone really think people will spend more money for US Postal services now that expensive ad has been launched on tv?

Another government waste of our tax money!

What the hell do you think advertising is for? Also, they aren't funded by the government, but by revenue, therefore advertising to increase business makes perfect sense.

Any business person understands that USPS is not getting an increase of revenue and when a company is showing huge loses quarter after quarter than you should not waste more money that you don't have. Only Obama lovers don't understand that concept...

Any business person understands that advertising is essential to any business. Amazon loses money quarter after quarter and yet its ads are everywhere. Only people with absolutely no intellectual ability don't understand that concept...

Frankly, I don't care if the USPS loses money.

I love the postal service, and I don't see how I'd get a better deal anywhere else.

USPS tv ad for Spiderman movie while on the verge of being bankrupt
It's not an ad 'for the Spiderman movie'. It's an ad to promote Priority Mail.

You never will for first class mail because it's a protected monopoly, Fedex and UPS couldn't offer that service if they wanted too.
