Did you read the Handel campaign's response to Perdue? Having worked with more than a few state legislators in my time, I formed the opinion that while a college degree is an interesting part of a legislator's background, it wasn't the most important indicator of how effectively s/he was in representing constituents.
And yes, I have plenty of college myself, and think everyone should have a chance at it.
