An exchange student fell to his death after ingesting marijuana in Colorado - the first death linked to the drug since it was legalised in the US state.
Levy Thamba, 19, plummeted from the balcony of a Denver hotel on 11 March after eating a cannabis-laced cookie.
If he was smoking PCP or doing LSD, maybe.....but just maybe. But no way does smoking pot cause you to jump off a balcony. But yeah, let's blame it on that since it was in his system
Some guy claimed that Twinkies made him commit crimes.
I was traveling across the country with my cousin and we stopped at this little convenient market next to the Twinkies factory. You could get like 3 boxes for $2... In the meantime he decides he doesn't want to each lunch after we bought all these Twinkies. Nothing but twinkies and cans of coca cola, what could go wrong?

Certainly not jump off a balcony as in I want to die but you're judgement is impaired and it could certainly lead to it. Not there is anything special about marijuana itself leading to that... Could be alcohol, <insert some other mind altersing substance>, stupidity or combination of any of them.

Pot would not cause someone to jump off a balcony though. It doesn't have hallucinating effects where you think you can fly or something like that.

I didn't say it did, like alcohol and <insert any other drug> it impairs your judgement and you may take risks you normally wouldn't. e.g. "Hey fellas, watch this as use this balcony rail for a balance beam..."

Oh no, I'm not saying you did. Sorry, if you thought that.
