Harrier walks past a Los Angeles Times news rack almost everyday and while he would never support that left-wing rag by purchasing a copy of the paper, he does scan the headlines.

Harrier was going to post this thread on Wednesday, and is glad that he waited, because he now knows that he wasn't the only one to express utter disbelief at the L.A. Slime's headline.

For The Los Angeles Times, a highly revealing juxtaposition | CalWatchDog

Not only is the headline extremely biased, with a sub-heading worthy of only the editorial pages, the Obamacare "story" is above the fold.

This was the April 3, 2014 edition of the paper.

On April 2, 2014, three people were shot at Ft. Hood , TX.

One would think that a tragedy such as that would get more attention from a self-respecting organ of journalism, yet it was nowhere to be seen through the news rack window.

Harrier visited the LAT print archives today and learned that the shooting story was on the front page, and so it was below the fold.

This sure sounds like the Los Angeles Times is carrying the water for the Obama administration - first featuring a shameless op-ed piece praising Obamacare and demeaning Republican opposition to that unconstitutional law, and simultaneously protecting the administration from the embarrassment of another case of "workplace violence" at Ft. Hood.

"Objective news" Harrier's left foot!

Notice how the subtitle claims that some members of the GOP may not benefit from Obamacare.

If true, then Obamacare violates the 14th Amendment.

Laws should provide equal protection for all citizens, and since the LA Times says that the Unaffordable Care Act does not do so, there exists grounds for it to be repealed or judicially overturned.

Liberal bias in the LA Times? I'm shocked!

It's just as bad here in the bay area. We have only two choices, The Press Democrat which espouses borderline communism, and The San Francisco Chronicle which espouses borderline communism. There is also a smaller publication called The San Francisco Examiner but you guessed it, it also espouses borderline communism.

So really all we have is one choice. Either you read borderline communism propaganda disguised as "news" or you don't read the newspaper at all. I choose to not read the newspaper at all.

LOL........yes, the L.A. Crimes is a decent liner for a birdcage, but not much else.

At one point -- around 1999, I think -- it seemed to be much less biased than it is now. To say they are carrying some water for Obama is quite the understatement.

That is the whole point - Harrier couldn't see the whole page when he looked in the news rack window, and what he didn't see was disturbing.

The Ft. Hood shooting story was not above the fold.

As for the Obamacare non-story that was above the fold., you can see the shameless editorializing right there in the blog provided picture.

It is showing just about what Harrier saw while walking down the street.

The photo you posted shows an April 1st article. Are you sure you saw it on April 3rd?

Yes.

Harrier can go take a picture of a copy of the April 3rd LAT and post it here - but that really shouldn't be necessary.

The picture and headline on the April 1st article in the Business section do not match the picture or headline from the April 3rd front page headline.
