i want to see the white male conservatives go after a black icon like this, as it will prove aaron's point.

of course his comments are accurate. the gop gets 0 minority vote and roughly 70 percent of the white vote, specifically white males. they appeal to whites by dehumanizing anybody who isn't a white male, examples being the birthers, the gop congress, tea party rallies, etc.

Hank Aaron compares Republicans who oppose Obama to KKK - CBSSports.com

A good man who just happens to be wrong on this. Why did Republicans give Bill Clinton hell? Why did Democrats give Reagan and Bush hell?

So, if we disagree with a black guy we prove Aaron's point? That is funny.

What happened to Cindy Sheehan?

What Aaron (just behind Gibby and Brock as one of my childhood heroes) went through in his pursuit of the home run record was a national disgrace. I can see why his views on race are tainted by such an experience.

neither president had a whole outfit created to marginalize him, im referring to the tea party.

the tea party was created by angry whites who wanted "there country back" and frequently used racial attacks on obama.

the idea about them wanting reigned in spending is a front and laughable, as they were non-existant when W did the first bailout in 08, so we know thats a ruse.

the tea party was a reaction from angry whites towards a president who in there opinion is not a real american, which is because he's not a white male.

See its these all or nothing statements that are so frustratingly stupid and OBVIOUSLY wrong. Are there Republicans that oppose Obama because they are racists? Sure, but there are a whole bunch that aren't. There are a bunch that oppose him because of his policies, his actions, and a whole lot will always oppose him just because he's a Democrat (both sides do this and its one of the worst things with our system).

In no way shape or form should it instantly make you a racist because you oppose Obama. To say so makes you an a-hole and WRONG.

He's ignorant; anyone making a comment like that is a total moron. Meanwhile Aaron just dehumanized the entire Republican Party.

what racist, "white man" Republican Party platform agendas do you or Aaron base these absurd accusations on?

Hilarious.

The Tea Party actually originated before Obama was elected President. Sorry to burst your bubble. The Tea Party has spent much of their time teeing off on establishment Republicans. Fiscal conservative Republicans are like anti-war Democrats, they tend to disappear when their party has the helm.

I'll give blacks this....they are extremely loyal to a fault. How else can you explain their overall allegiance to the Democrat party, after seeing their quality of life disintegrate for almost half a century under said party? We all know what LBJ said about them, and how they would vote Democratic until the end of times!
