Other sources say differently. Compared to other presidents, he's not rich. In addition, these are all guesstimates. Putative Sheriff Joe Arpaio must have come up the $12 million figure.

"President Barack Obama is not one of the richest presidents. The president receives a salary of $400,000 a year as president, which, while generous, isn’t even close to today’s top executives salaries. The President’s annual income has actually dropped steadily since he entered office. In 2009, the President’s adjusted gross income was $5.5 million. That figure fell to less than $1 million in 2012. This is primarily due to a drop-off in revenue from his prior book deals. 24/7 Wall St. estimates the President’s net worth to be $7.5 million."

Or maybe your perception of what the average liberal thinks about rich people is bull****. Do you want me to fake it so you don't feel stupid?

Didn't I just say we should tax net worth as well? Did you just stop reading after the first sentence?

Why not just eliminate income tax for everyone and increase sales tax? That way everybody pays the same rate.

Is there where you tell us liberals have no problem with rich people? Because I would love that.

Obama pays the rate the law has set for his income. He has advocated raising that level and many liberals agree, but those attempts have failed, so I am not sure what exactly you want people to be angry about.
