I'm saying the KKK was the philosophical brainchild of the democrat party. I'm saying that the most infamous example of a Klansman in recent American politics was Senator Robert Byrd (D-West Virginia). I'm saying that, if this guy ran for office as a Republican (and only as a Republican) the kneejerkers on this site would be unable to contain their glee. That this rat ran also as a democrat has everyone saying 'Shame, shame for making this partisan.' It's called hypocrisy, and both sides have it in abundance on this site.

2. If you're going to mention Byrd, who renounced his former affiliation, may I just to you in much more recent history the Republican politician David Duke (R - Louisiana) who never renounced his racist and KKK ties,
Smart money is that after 70+ years on the planet and decades and decades involved with the KKK and other hate groups that he acted out NOW instead of years ago because something *changed*.
I'd not be shocked to find out that he's got dementia or maybe got cancer or another terminal issue.....he'll never live long enough to be executed.
My guess is that he listened daily to Glenn Beck, Hannity, and Limbaugh.

As to David Duke, uhhh...and just how far did he go in the Republican Party? Did he make it to the United States Senate? Where is he now??
There's anti-Semite and there's anti-Israel (to the point that they can be distinguished.) The vast majority of anti-Israel sentiment is on the left --particularly the academic left.
But the vast majority on the left are anti-guns, remember?
Sadly, that's very common here with the Jew hating leftists that post incredibly horrible things about Jews, Israel, etc. I've been subjected to it first hand.
