After November 2014, when (not if) Republicans take the Senate majority and continue to capitalize on the nationwide momentum that has been gaining steam in their favor since 2010, we can all expect to see Barack Obama playing more golf, going on more vacations, removing himself from hard battles, and refusing to bow to left wing extremists like the New York Times, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, FAIR, NAACP, Rainbow PUSH, illegal immigrants, HomoActivists, gun-grabbing groups, etc.
At that point, Eric Holder/Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi will be muzzled and Democrats will be forced to run all talking points through the White House before appearing on the Sunday news shows.
This, of course, is just a thumbnail of the drastic change in practices that will take place when this President is faced with the threat of House impeachment. Afterall, a win for the GOP in the Senate means that America is sick and tired of the Democratic Agenda.
To stay the course would be to encourage (even dare) the House to impeach him. For a man so ensconced in his legacy, there's no way under the sun that the President of 2015/2016 will resemble anything like the law-defying President of today.
As much as I'd like to agree with you, I'm not so sure. That man is so arrogant, self centered and naive that he doesn't see the forest for the trees, and I think the Democrat leaders will just let him make a fool of himself and keep their distance. But- I hope you're right.

You make a good point. He's a narcissist for sure. It's absolutely possible that he'll feel compelled to try to make an end run around the House and Senate in an effort to prop up his legacy with pandering executive actions. I could see that happening. But I can also see this President cutting his losses and privately conceding that he "did what he could" to "fundamentally transform America."
In a way, I already think he's leaning this way, and he's quietly lobbying historians to go easy on him, although I'm not sure that will be effective.
Barack Obama knows he’s a man running out of time. Reflecting on his presidential legacy in a long interview with the New Yorker’s David Remnick, Obama said, “at the end of the day we’re part of a long-running story. We just try to get our paragraph right.”

So do you think that the Republicans will get the 21 Senate seats to be able to have the 2/3'rds required to impeach or do you think that Democrats would vote to impeach him as well, making it so the Republicans don't have to win as many seats?
To win a Senate seat in most states one needs only win a major population center or two, and most major cities trend Dem. Plus in all honesty the ACA didn't hurt the Dems core base (welfare parasites)- it just gave even more of them "free" Medicaid.
I think the Dems will hold the Senate; hell they may even pick a seat up.

No, Republicans will not get the 2/3rds needed in the Senate. But that doesn't matter. A House impeachment is all it takes to blemish a Presidency. Bill Clinton fought it because it matters, especially in legacy terms. Richard Nixon chose to resign instead of facing such a significant branding on his Presidency.
Whether the Senate convicts is largely irrelevant, especially to the person being impeached.

I do not see how Clinton's impeachment hurt him at all.
And lets not embellish. Barack Obama is no Bill Clinton.
