If you want to go down the road of "cause and effect" you can look at all the confirmed examples of violence and death that perfectly legal alcohol causes every year(spousal abuse, bar fights, DUIs and car crashes, etc).

Though I'm not advocating banning alcohol either...

It makes every marijuana user I know mellow. So mellow that while they're high they do practically nothing. I am incredulous that this guy actually had the motivation to do anything. He may have been on a combination of other drugs but I don't think pot alone made him do this.

Oh cruxan, let the anti-legalization crowd have their fun. They're on their last gasp and fighting an uphill battle as more and more people see through the lies and propaganda of a failed war on a plant.

Now if we could only agree on fiscal matters in this country.....

There is no basis to assert that the "pot" consumed at some time prior to the incident was a cause of the face eating incident. As a local test lab explained in the Miami news paper, tests for drugs look for certain markers or the presence of a substance to create a positive result. In this case, and without knowing what to look for, a lab might not be able to determine what was in his blood that may have cause the behavior. Specifically addressing synthetic marijuana, the person interviewed from the lab said that the makers of synthetic marijuana were contstatly changing the formulas they use, so it was difficult, if not immpossible, to keep up, or to have a test that would cover some of the chemicals used.

However, as we all have seen, and Finn himself admits in the religion threads, he needs no proof to believe in his own opinion, and no "proof" by anyone will change his mind.

In the same news, those 40 million did exactly as you claim, absolutely nothing.

Using your logic, users if marijuana should be given free access to firearms because they aren't going to hurt anyone. Maybe the pro-gun owner associations have it all wrong. They should get behind the legalization of marijuana for recreational use because it would reduce murders.

I think you're onto something.

With one click of a mouse I seem to have traveled back to the 1930's.

Have a word with yourself, OP. This baseless fearmongering was even ridiculous almost 100 years ago.
