And it's not just Republicans that are ticked off.

"The Obama administration once again has punted on a final decision for the Keystone XL pipeline, announcing ahead of the holiday weekend it is extending a key review period indefinitely -- a move that could push off a determination until after the midterm elections. Republicans, as well as red-state Democrats who want the proposed Canada-to-Texas pipeline approved, slammed the administration for the delay. Democrats even threatened to find ways to go around the president to get the project approved...Keystone supporters in Congress were furious with the decision. Just days earlier, 11 Democratic senators had written to President Obama urging him to make a final decision by the end of May, complaining that the process "has been exhaustive in its time, breadth and scope...There is a wide bipartisan support in the Senate. Last year, the chamber voted 62-37 on a nonbinding amendment that called for the pipeline's approval."

‘Ridiculous’: Administration punts on Keystone, Obama faces Dem revolt | Fox News

Of course he waited until a Friday afternoon to say so.

Oh no....

You mean the rush to get tar sands to Asia isn't happening fast enough for you?

All those 'jobs' not being filled?

TransCanada might lose some money?

Whatever will we do?

Correction: Obama does not dither. He slithers, like any snake.

By himself, Obama is not bright enough to make an educated decision on the Keystone debacle.

I have my doubts about the pros of Keystone, honestly. One thing I have learned in the last 10 years is the only people you can trust LESS than politicians are oil people.

I disagree with 99% of what Obama does, but if his administration
does not green light the Keystone Pipeline, that's in the 1% I approve
of. Also is his EPA's blocking that horrendous Pebble Mine program, which
would have irrevocably destroyed the largest, most pristine salmon breeding
ground on the planet.

YES, the Earth DOES MATTER.

The decision should be NO and he knows it. Let's hope he does not forget.

His indecision is in itself a decision. He will wait until the next candidate for President is selected, if it's Hillary, he will do as she requests. If not, he is likely to deny the pipeline.

No; you gripe about gas being high. Then you delay pipeline that will ship it far cheaper and safer than train. You want your cake and to eat it too;plain and simple. If left to Obama you would have been sitting in lines at stations long ago. and paying 14.00 a unit for natural gas instead of less then 4 dollars. No wander the economy is bad with people thinking like you.

I predict he WILL make a decision. Somewhere around.........late September.........maybe early October. After summer so people are paying attention, and with enough time for the news to digest among the unwashed masses, and for those scrambling to hang on to their seats to star in local vote-for-me-me-me commercials prior to the mid-terms.

Or not.
