Most big cities vote Democratic. To get more votes you want more people to move into the cities. Hence, a Democrat that can do so, will do anything possible to get people to move into the cities. Could this be why Obama will not approve the pipeline? Obama does nothing to try and lower gas prices.

Could this be why Governor and legislature of Maryland raised the tolls on the bridges and highways in Maryland?

It may sound like silly logic, but what else is there to make sense of some of the thing liberals in power do?

I have a severe issue on how states can levy tolls on Federally funded highways. Like the Interstate highway system.

Thinking that Obama has anything to do with the price of gas is very silly logic, indeed.

Agreed. The government should fund them adequately.

It is logical, though, to consider that he has no incentive to do anything that might cause the price to decrease, even if doing so would be better for the country as a whole, but might not be as good for the Democrats.

Gas prices are not high because of a shortage of oil. Gas prices are high because of the massive welfare programs designed to prop up wall street.
