Since his girlfriend is half-black, half-Mexican, is Sterling okay with being seen in public with her only if she brings the Mexican half? Or is he okay with people who are half-black--so Blake Griffin is okay but he's not going to allow a photo with Chris Paul or Glen Davis?
Also his comment that it wasn't okay for his "girlfriend"(who's an attractive little gold digger) to have an instagram photo taken with Magic Johnson, but he didn't care if he effed her...uh, okay...
Sterling is a old racist coot, possibly senile at this point, though that's been known for years. It'd be awesome though if this comment came back to bite him in the ass... Hey, a lot of teams would like to sign Chris Paul away. He's been known as the biggest a-hole to own an NBA team ever for years.

Exactly. In my honest opinion, the team owner could come to work in a KKK outfit and they would continue to play basketball. Sure it would create minor controversy, but at the end of the day, his gladiators are only motivated by money.
Their behavior is in stark contrast to a world class athlete like Muhammad Ali. He could not be bought. They stripped him of his title (due to his refusal to partake in the Vietnam war), but he wouldn't cave-in. Taking a stance was far more important to him, than the cash and fame.
Sterling's motive at the end of the day is to simply make money. Since his gladiators can jump and run exceptionally well, he employs them. It's really that simple.
Sterling has every right to express his racist views, but unlike you, I would never defend his behavior or make excuses.

It was an incredibly stupid thing to say. I see it as likely the same as closet gay politicians saying negative things about homosexuals.
He can say stupid things. I see some calling for the team to be taken from him. That's pretty stupid also but as a player I think I would sit. On the opposing team I would still sit.
It's been known for years that Sterling is scumbag, his comments shouldn't surprise anyone, the dude was born in the early '30s.
Sterling has been voted the worst owner in sports for years. He just got lucky with landing Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. For years his cheapskates ways though kept the Clippers a bottom of the barrel team until recently.
But simply owning a bad team isn’t quite enough to get you on this list. Sterling has made many, many more missteps that demonstrated how he should have no business owning a pro sports team. He's been sued several times for sexual harassment and racial discrimination, including by former GM Elgin Baylor.

Yeah, but he's not saying racist stuff to Magic Johnson's face(who claims he thought they were friends); He's still too cowardly to say direct racial comments to his mostly all black team even though I'm sure he takes pride in being a racist old bastard in a way.

Since Bundy's 'racist' rant was proven false as we learned the media had selectively edited Bundy's comments, I will view this latest 'racist' rant will skepticism until I hear the ENTIRE recording in context.
