Why do we need to know the race of every person in most news stories????
You don't hear the race of a person who allegedly committed a crime if they are black, but the race of the person will be the first thing reported if the person is white.
I think the race card is pulled more by whites who feel racial guilt than by anyone else. They are so afraid of not appearing to be PC enough that they pull the race card at the drop of a hat. Example: That man is well spoken. That's racist because that man happened to be a black man. Why can't it be a compliment as it was intended? I am pretty sure black men can be well spoken and most are.

Because no one ever refers to a white boy as well spoken.

This could not be further from the truth.

Just curious, because not EVERYTHING is about race.
If I hypothetically insult you and say your dumb, am I saying it because of your race OR because you can't do a task? You just happen to be black, but that is irrespective of my statement
No, but whites pull the "I'm not a racist but...." card far too often. If you say something racist then expect to be called out for it. The simple solution is for white people to stop saying or doing racist stuff to begin with.
Oh, where people are coerced to not say things that they are truly thinking in fear of having their livelihood taken away?
Interesting.
No, in a post-racial society no coercion would be needed. No racists at my workplace.
