The Ukrainian mess is threatening to take headlines away from issues that could help the Republicans in the 2014 midterm elections.

John Boehner could offer Putin more flexibility after the election, if Putin can just sit tight and not cause a raucous until after the November elections.

This could help the Republicans keep the House and Capture the Senate. In return they could then save Obama from himself and block his attempts to constrain Putin's flexibility to do as Putin sees fit.

What say you?

What are the chances he cries while telling him?

I'd say 50%. What are the chances his skin looks an unhealthy orange?

Anyways, wouldn't this be a great political move to offer Putin some flexibility?

It only works with progressives, not with conservatives. They'd instantly be anti-Boehner of he pulled an Obama with Putin.

They all cry if it helps get votes.

They are far less than the chances that Obama will apologize.

No...the Democrats would never complain if someone aligned themselves with Putin, especially if it meant being practical...practical like avoiding tough issues until after an election and then giving Putin a free hand.

Obama is the king of punting until after an election, look at all of the Obamacare delays until after elections, look at Keystone, heck look at all of his instant flip flops once he took office in January 2009. Obama had to have known that he no longer believed in no lobbyists in certain WH positions, the no signing a bill until the public has seen it for 5 days, etc... He just punted in informing us until after the election.

Tell Valdimir I'll have more flexibility after the election, so if he wants to capture a country to two, just wait until then.

We have no say in what Russia does unless it makes a move on us.

I say Putin doesn't give a flip about Boehner or the right wing loonies in the House.

I'd say he doesn't care about the left wing loonie in the White House either. Putin knows Obama is a spineless coward whose only interests are getting back rubs from Reggie Love and playing basketball.
