What say you about this article about a Canadian Man who strangled his daughter and then called paramedics because she wanted to dress like her friends.
This is the fundamental difference (no pun intended) between the two religions. Christians are taught to be circumspect, examine themselves, exact humility and fairness into their actions, etc. Muslims have NO such practice, as they see their actions, however heinous, as superior to the infidels. Just a thought (but also a fact).
Anyway, Scumbag Dad now has 72 virgins to look forward to, if she dies and he is charged with murder.... Unless Toronto has embraced sharia law and he is not charged. Look for more of this to come.

I guess the best we can hope for prior to that is life in prison. . . Canada doesn't believe in the death penalty. Of course this is the penalty this man chose for his daughter.
Christianity is a faith that emphasizes the forgiveness of God in light of human flaws and weakness. To be a "devout" Christian means to recognize our own shortcomings and seek God's forgiveness.
Islam is a religion based on human works to appease an angry god, and the works in question for the last 1,400 years have mostly been violent and bloody. So then, to be a "devout" Muslim can only mean...?
I don't get it. Why come to a secular country if you're a fundamentalist? If you believe in following a traditional path, you should stay in a country, like Pakistan that follows that lifestyle. Canada is a SECULAR country. The daughter was being raised in a SECULAR country. If the scarf was that important, he should have stayed there. I suppose greed was more important than his religion???
