Redistribution of wealth - taking away to give cash to others - is not really what any mainstream person calls for.
Simply giving money to others is a recipe for disaster. But investing in the country and its people would ultimately pay dividends for the wealthy as much as it does for the poorer classes and especially, the middle class.
The entire purpose of Obamacare, keep in mind, is to take money from people who have it and give it to people who don't. So they charge huge premiums to "everybody", and then "give subsidies" to people with lower-paying jobs... which accomplishes exactly the "wealth redistribution" you talked about.
"Health care" is just the excuse. Redistribution is the goal.
I don't earn billions a year but it didn't stop these people from attacking and going after people like me. Remember, when you attack people and take from them you won't get much sympathy.
When people work hard to earn money only to have it taken away to "give" to others, what is to stop them from saying, I'll just quit and have money re-distributed to me.
nobody's attacking you chill out man .. it seems like you don't get the concept of it, or just don't want to I don't know ... redistributing wealth is quite a complex process, it's not like the money goes from one pocket to another
the general idea about redistributing wealth is to ensure everybody can live decently and to diminish wealth inequality ... now you sound like a person who'd send poor people to extermination camps because they didn't succeed in life

There IS a problem in this country with wealth and assets being concentrated in fewer and fewer hands. Within a generation or two we will return to the model of aristocratic Europe.
To invest in America and its people again - the way we did immediately after WW2 - would be the best use of higher taxes on wealth and portions of income over certain levels. THAT is wealth redistribution that helps everyone.
