Do you think our next administration, no matter what political party is elected, will avoid the constant comments about race and racism that has proliferated in the current one?

That pretty much ended with Bush. A good part of the Tea Party voters which started in 2009 will be dead in 2016. Tea Partiers dont like to admit it but if you are 70 in 2010 there is a good chance you will be dead in 2016. The Tea Party has three things on their agenda right now and they are Medicare, Medicare, and Medicare and the heck to the rest of you. The next President whether Republican or Democrat will relegate the Tea Party to the same status of the John Birch Society.

Who knows? But one thing is certain: ultra-cons here on C-D will remain obsessed about race.

Not if the shadow government has anything to say about it.
Look how we got Nixon.
Look how we got Carter
Look how we got H Bush
Look how we got Clinton
Look how e got G. Bush
Look how we got Obama.

Reagan was the last to bust through the chosen one and get elected. He was also the last president to be elected by 100% non-electronic computer programed voting machines.

Up until January 2011, both Democrat and Republican parties were Progressive. One a little more than the other.
The shadow government, cannot run every election down to the County races.
