[quote=Christinerica;34871412]Seems that more and business are refusing to allow open carry people to intimidate and frighten those that choose to live a gun free life! I applaud Chipotle for deciding to tell the gun "enthusiasts and second amendment" true believers to leave the guns at home. I guess the market place is starting to frown on those that believe today's society should be a Wild West gun smoke show.

There is simply no excuse for any patriotic American to ever walk down the street without a loaded handgun ready at hand to use for its only intended purpose, to deny human beings due process and kill them before they commit a crime.. Any letup in our vigilance, and the nation would immediately collapse into a chaotic anarchy of unbridled crime like Norway.

Original Comment:
Please be aware that until you refuse to admit persons (excepting law enforcement) that bring weapons into a family restaurant, I will not purchase any of your products due to fears for my safety.
The thing is it is just a request and i don't give it a second thought. If I'm carrying and want Chipotles, I'll go in. If I'm not and still want Chipotles, then i won't. This policy has no effect on my eating or spending habits.

Now if this guy feels unsafe because I am there and carrying a gun safely, then he should stray home. It's a big scary world out there and i'd much rather offend him and still maintain my ability to defend myself from him. To me he is a lunatic and the exact kind of person i am scared will lose control and make a stupid decision based on a fantasy. besides, his absence means less lines, so it's a win:win.

I've been raped a few times.
Two attempts to rob me after getting off a transit bus ... They failed.

I have been mugged once, by three savages in their early teens; no conviction. Once is once too many.

It's not going to happen to me or mine.
That's why I'm licensed, trained, armed, ready, and most of all, determined.

If it happens to some liberal, well, I might be a good witness,
but I certainly won't risk anything to help someone who might have voted for Obama.

It's not about defending your self it's about people in a restaurant and a companies decision to refuse service to ar carrying groups or individuals. The company has spoken and now the gun people must find a different place to eat.

The marketplace has spoken and said good bye to rifles carried in the open at restaurants. This trend will continue as the demographic of the gun enthusiast continues to shrink.

Eventually guns in public will be a rarity. Won't be congress that outlaws guns, it will be businesses that understand they will lose market share by allowing weapons on display on their premises. That is how we liberals work, by making undesired behavior cost business profits.

Yet, Chipotle has not banned guns, and not one single person with a gun has been turned away from a Chipotle. Not even one.

Personally, I prefer concealed carry over open carry for many reasons, but I appreciate the fact that open carry makes liberals uncomfortable.

Liberals deserve to be made uncomfortable.
