Muslims are masters of gaslighting. They will rob, cheat, steal, rape and murder, throw a celebration afterwards. Then the next day, they send out the spokesperson to proclaim it an anomaly, and themselves a religion of peace. Unfortunately, many are just dumb enough to be taken in.
A Muslim explained it to me -- he said that Muslims very much want peace, but peace will only come when the entire world submits to Islam.
He said as long as people have separate religions and believe in different ways, there will be war. He said someday there will be peace on earth, that will be the day that everyone has been converted and everyone lives under Islamic laws.
He said they would prefer the world converts to Islam peacefully. Just accept it has to be done one way or another.
So yes -- Muslims are "peaceful" but you have to understand what their definition of that is.
Is it? A big part of their religion and culture are to blame. In their view, it is acceptable to stone a woman to death to "protect" the family honor. Look at how they treat women in this culture! If a woman is raped, they consider it her fault. There are a disturbingly large number of reports of muslims killing their own family members out of their misguided notions of honor or religious nonsense. BTW, I think all religion is nonsense.
The OP had a point though. Liberals seem to bend over backwards to accommodate and to cater to this group despite their horrible track record in how they treat women, yet they claim to champion women's rights as well.
So in other words, you have no idea what the Muslim religion is and you confuse it with extreme Islamic people.
And it is stupid to think all Muslims are the same, which sounds like you guys are confusing Muslims and some Islamics.
How do you figure, and how does anything in this thread have to do with guns...when one is a law and the other......is, well why don't you tell us what the other is....
It has nothing to do with faith. It's more about their culture and the region of of the world that these people live in or come from. Most Colombian drug lords, Mexican cartel members and Russian mobsters are Christians, so does that mean all Christians are involved in organized crime?
If you need to have a team, so you can know exactly who the good guys are, than I suggest watching pro sports.

Indeed. I'm not seeing any differences. Liberals want to cry "but Bush" yet their guy is keeping Bush's policies in effect by continuing to d*** around in the middle east, and of course let's not forget continuation of the Patriot Act, TSA, NSA...ect..ect... And of course we have Mr. "I voted for the Iraq war, before I voted against it" Kerry! Democrats? Republicans? Just two sides of the same coin.
Now, I digress. There are extremist a-holes in all religions. Killing someone in the name of God, and playing the my God is better than your God card isn't very God-like, now is it?
