Federal Judge Michael McShane of Eugene plans to release an opinion about marriage equality on Monday at noon, potentially granting gay and lesbian couple the freedom to marry in Oregon.

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum declined to defend the constitutional limit of marriage to one man and one woman, and agrees that the law should be overturned.

The ban was imposed in 2004 but Oregon allowed Domestic Partnership in 2008. Im glad too, more citizens of this great country not treated as second class citizens.

When it does get overturned in Oregon, I will be expecting a number of weddings I will be needing to go to.

Huh? The amount of gay couples my wife and I know in Oregon, there will definitely be plenty of weddings we will have to go to.

Couples? Seems like discrimination to me if you're limiting it to two people. And what about cousins? Are they allowed? If not, then its not all couples.
