If the party had gotten its wish, my hunch is she would have been the 2008 nominee, locking up 16 years for the party. I see 12 locked up now Obama/Hillary, but she may be too old, too beat, to run again, in 2020.

Hilary has too much dirt, too much baggage and no accomplishments in her tenures as Senator and Secretary of the State, where she showed the world her incompetence.

That's the key. She's still popular, but that doesn't mean she would make a good President or leader of the executive branch. But the Republicans have to offer up something better. I can understand, but may not completely agree, with the appeal of Jeb Bush. He ran a State as an executive, he was not without his stumbles, but seemed to have garnered a significant amount of success there. To me, it's all up in the air right now.

The GOP is desperately seeking anyone who can run a campaign with some kind of skill/competency. The Romney run was a disaster from day one and never really found a firm footing.

Unless they come up with a strong message and a strong candidate, the next POTUS will have a D next to his or her name.

What difference does it make?
Even dumbass Rick Perry, has a 50/50 chance against Hilary. That is sad for America.

Ted Cruz & Ben Carson wipe the floor with her in any debate, if the media wants to see that debate.

How pathetic is it that a woman with so much baggage, who stayed with that philandering rat of a husband only to insure her shot at the Presidency, is being taken seriously.

So. How does that change the Blue Wall, which we all know has 60 more EC votes than the red wall? How does it change growing NOVA moving Va into the Blue Wall? Or NM's demographics doing the same?

It will be very interesting who she picks for her running mate, now what if it were the Mayor of San Antonio who is getting a little Federal experience running HUD for a year or two or a retried General (4 Star) like Rick Shinseki. Both men might not be such a bad choice and the VP slot is usually considered a President in waiting (and both would break new ground with key ethnic groups you know the first Latino or Nissei President).
