And? What's your point? You want to redistribute all the wealth from the top to the bottom not only incentivizing sloth and underachievement but also to continue the Borg-like consumption of the planet's resources?

At some point the cost of goods will have to get out of reach to some degree. I don't suppose you think there will be 5 or 6 Americas out their consuming like locust do you?
Not sure where you got that idea from what I said.

Considering that it has never been the equivalent of $23.00, you are correct. The minimum wage had its highest purchasing power in 1968, when it was the equivalent of +/- $10.79 per hour.

I would rather redistribute the wealth from the top to the bottom than from the bottom to the top. Our current policy of the last 30 years has blatantly redistributed wealth upward. Why do wealthy folks need corporate welfare?

The 1% are running the country and they will NEVER go for that.
Hillary considered herself "dead broke" when she left the State Dept.

She did say they were $12 million in debt, so I can see why she would say that, but what broke is to her compared to what broke is to me are two different things.

$1 million in assets and when she filed to run had between $2-10 million in legal fees and had gotten an $8 million advance on a book.

Yeah.."dead broke" for a 1%er maybe.
