Yep, that pretty much describes a conservative voter.

It's cases like these that make me concerned. I'd really want to be able to ask every single person who voted for him, why? So damn curious to see their responses.

no matter. It's clear why we're in the place we are today. People vote who shouldn't vote. There is not one valid reason this man should have received one vote from anyone

Random things happen in politics.
Random?

Well that's one way to spin the stupidity of the general electorate.

What am I spinning? The guys shouldn't have gotten any votes, but that is the beauty of free elections, and sometimes guys like this still get votes.

Heck, maybe people voted for him to throw away a vote or to vote in protest of the other candidates. And yes, this is random.

Do we need any more proof that Democrats don't give a damn about ethics when it comes to their vote choices?

The man was just arrested on federal corruption charges for running guns and he still received 11% of the vote putting him in a solid 3rd place.

That's the "beauty" of it? Really? That we have so many idiots that cast votes that have or could have major impacts on the country? That's not beauty, that's the horrible ugliness of it. Not free elections, but the fact that people vote who realm should not....clearly.

It seems to have escaped your attention that Leland Yee did not, in fact, win his election.
