Do you think the same day voters will be required to show a photo ID or driver's license? Nah that'd be RACIST. Or can they just say "I'm Fred Smith, and I wanna vote" and the poll workers will hand them a ballot?
The point of registering; only one person will be allowed to vote once.. unless they steal the identity of multiple folks.
Common sense...
That's why voter fraud is so rare. If John Smith who lives on 3100 Western Street in Bumbleboo, IL (SS# XXX-XX-XXXX) goes to vote, John can't go vote somewhere else.
Meanwhile, in Mississippi today, The Senate Conservative Fund, FreedomWorks, and the Tea Party Patriots have teamed up to send "election observers" to watch the polls in the primary race between Republican Sen. Thad Cochran and Tea Party candidate Chris McDaniel. But they are only sending watchers to the black polling places. Why? Because Cochran had the audacity to try to reach out to black voters, and the Tea Party is worried that blacks might actually show up to vote for him. Can't have that.
Got to love conservatives. At least they recognize that the only way they can win anymore is to try to intimidate and/or suppress the vote.

What is a black polling place?

Got to love those red states. At least they recognize that the only way they can win anymore is to try to intimidate and/or suppress the vote.

Then why are there multiple cases of college students voting twice?
It also removes the barriers to voting for out of state college students, which voter ID laws target. I wonder why those old white men don't want college students to vote?
Why do urban "progressives" want to do everything possible to cover up voter fraud, make it impossible to stop and allow illegals to vote?
What are you talking about? I was talking about people having more access to voting so that it makes it easier for busy Americans to do.
When you bring computers into the system it becomes much easier to rig an election, falsify votes, or keep people from voting without a record or witnesses.
Then why are there multiple cases of college students voting twice?
Compared to the number of voters total...
But I guess you're of the "it's worth a million poor people not being able to vote if I can just stop one person from double-voting with this measure that wouldn't actually stop fraud anyway" camp.
The voter suppression probably increases fraudulent voting's impact on results. But that only matters if you actually care about fraud, rather than suppression.
