Repeal the 16th AD for a start. Do a VAT tax & you get most of the government off the backs of most of the citizens, not everyone, but most. As for rich people.....love them. Want to see more of them. They employ people like you.

Do you have a link that says the IRS admitted wrongdoing? The only link here is that they settled a case.
People settle cases all the time to avoid the expense of further litigation. Is there a link where the IRS is admitting wrong doing?

I don't agree. I think we would all be paying more with a VAT. And you would still need to have someone monitoring compliance and collecting the tax.

Of course you still need someone to monitor compliance.....bit of a straw-man you are using here. We don't live in a perfect word. A combo VAT/sales tax will get the government involved with several million business owners & out of the lives of several hundred million every day citizens. It's a trade-off. Lot's of studies have shown you can easily replace the income tax with a VAT tax or sales tax, or both....it does not matter what you "feel" what matters is it can be done.

And, if it's done, the number of Americans that will NOT any longer be monitored by the government will be in the very many millions....that's the point of getting rid of the current system. It's called freedom.

Because Holder is sitting on it. This is a case that demands criminal prosecution....

Good, everyone would have skin in the game.

Axe the IRS! Axe the FED!

The US Treasury, is the one that would be in control. The VAT tax, would be paid to them, the US Treasury, just like I pay the State Comptroller, now. With my State Comptroller, being an elected position.

Those with no skin in the game, are telling those with all the skin, to cough it up.

The day the IRS and the Federal Reserve were created, was the day We The People were enslaved, with the constitution made just a novelty.
