Did you read the thread you are posting to? The point of the thread? Ann Coulter politicized soccer and apparently now, if you like it, you're un-American. Honestly, I can't help you read.

I know many liberals who are into football. My father is a liberal and he likes football. He used to play it in high school. Where I've seen the most conservatives, however, is baseball.

The soccer thing, well, for me, it has been brewing since I was in middle school. I liked playing it, but I really got into watching it when I was in college.

I'm more of an independent when it comes to politics.

An NFL announcer doesn't have to wear out their vocal cords saying "touchdown Seahawks" several times a game.
You'll be upset to learn that the Spanish language announcer for the Arizona Cardinals screams, "TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUCH DOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!" (They won 10 games last year so he got to say if a lot.)

He often follows it up by proclaiming, "LAR EEEEEEEEEEEE FITZ GEERRRRR AAAAAAAAALD!!"

Anyone that watched today's match and didn't find it exciting is completely brain dead.

Really? Did the refs run around in circles like twits waving colored cards around? Dang, I really missed something....

I like Ann, but on this she's being silly. Would she rather our little ones look up to basketball (NBA) thugs, or football (NFL) thugs?

Soccer is a very competitive and tough sport, which requires a lot of talent. And it's not full of a bunch of gutter trash.

Good for him/her(this covers the possibility of the announcer being a man, a woman, or confused about their gender).

Why would Harrier be upset?
