But the paradoxes in the Antarctic don't stop there. There's also a suggestion that a big contributor to the increasing sea ice could be the melting of the massive Antarctic ice sheet in the west of the continent. According to the last IPCC report, between 2002 and 2011 the Antarctic ice sheet was likely losing ice at a rate of 147 billion tonnes a year – up from 30 billion tonnes a year over the previous decade."

Let me know when you finish reading about some science.
This was the easiest prediction, that one of them would actually blame Global Warming on the increasing ice shelf.

You just can't make up this voodoo.

This is indeed predictable. No matter what happens for some it's the fault of man made climate something or another and we must enact new fines and taxes today because if we don't we all will be dead in a few years.

This is a temporary boost caused by the snowy, icy winter and the abrupt spring. It has nothing to do with the long-term trends. Once again, you don't understand the difference between weather and climate.

And sea ice isn't the same thing as the ice on land.

Sea ice was pointed to by the true believers for years when it melted a little as definitive proof of ÀGW.
