I'm sure some heads will explode. Not only has NOOA and NASA said the warming has paused for 15 years, but other government data form NOOA shows it's actually showing a overall cooling trend.

So, have at this, you AGW alarmist, science deniers.

Government Data Show U.S. in Decade-Long Cooling - Forbes

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s most accurate, up-to-date temperature data confirm the United States has been cooling for at least the past decade. The NOAA temperature data are driving a stake through the heart of alarmists claiming accelerating global warming.

Responding to widespread criticism that its temperature station readings were corrupted by poor siting issues and suspect adjustments, NOAA established a network of 114 pristinely sited temperature stations spread out fairly uniformly throughout the United States. Because the network, known as the U.S. Climate Reference Network (USCRN), is so uniformly and pristinely situated, the temperature data require no adjustments to provide an accurate nationwide temperature record. USCRN began compiling temperature data in January 2005. Now, nearly a decade later, NOAA has finally made the USCRN temperature readings available.

Irrelevant.

My goodness... it is called global climate change.

Maybe if you understood anything about science, you would be able to piece together what causes the U.S. climate to function the way it is.

The Eastern half of the country consists of weather controlled by the North Atlantic Current and the Great Lakes microclimate (see Lake-Effect Snow). The West Coast has the current in the other direction. The West Coast by result has a more moderate, Mediterranean Climate. The East Coast has warm-hot summer tropical climates all the way up the coast to Boston.

Ocean currents distribute the Earth's heat. They are the main cause for climates. The ocean in Alaska / NW Canada is abnormally warm. That forces cold arctic air further South than normal. Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, thank Alaska for your deep freezes!

Conclusion: The globe can be warming, but that doesn't mean every square inch of the globe is warming. The United States is at the confluence of several major climate influences.

Educate yourself and stop parroting whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Because less than 2% of the earth's surface is the very definition of global amongst the science denying whiners, eh?

Yes, the climate always changes. That was never in doubt.

But AGW is bunk. It hasn't warmed in 17 years.

I don't get it...when NOAA data shows warming for a few years, it's proof of AGW. The sky is falling, the end is near, we gotta stop burning coal, etc. Yet when the same data shows a cooling trend, it's dismissed because it's not "global" and is only a US source.

Cherry picking data-one of many reasons the AGW alarmists have lost credibility.

And then they lump climate change and AGW in the same category to strengthen their arguments.

Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Interesting - not saying that you are right or wrong - but there is an absence of human activity in your theory. So since you obviously know your science, human activity is not part of the climate change issue.

Thanks for the good news.

Well it is cooler where I live, at this moment, thus that means global warming isn't real because we all know the US is the center of the Universe.
