NYU Abu Dhabi Workers Treated Terribly -- NYMag

So much for fair treatment of the construction workers who built the NYU campus in Abu Dhabi. Why haven't the liberals voiced their outrage over this? Oh wait Chelsea Clinton is the NYU Provost, and the UAE and Dubai has contributed $10 million to the Clinton Foundation and millions to Bill Clinton personally in speeches.

I guess money trumps human rights.

Haven't heard any outrage from conservatives either. Actually, most people probably don't know this is going on.

Actually, most people don't care this is going on. Why should we? Don't we have enough to worry about here? Any why is NYU building an overseas campus? Let the Abu Dhabis build and run their own school if they want one.

I never argued if anyone cared. I had to wonder if anyone even knew what was going on. Do most Americans even know a satellite campus of NYU is being built in Abu Dhabi(at least those living outside of the Greater NYC area)?

NYU has other foreign campuses in Accra, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Sydney, and Tel Aviv.

Abu Dhabi in fact paid for the college.

Well it's not like construction projects in Abu Dhabi are big news in America. A lot of Americans, both D and R, can't point out Canada on a map. Do you really think they know about construction in the middle east??
