You can have respect for a person that is a strong leader and still not "like" them. I'm sure many of Napoleon's opponents had a considerable grudging respect for him. It is difficult to respect a spineless, vacillating "leader", even if he's supposedly on your team.

Some of you guys don't know jack about the tea party and that includes our elected officials in DC. Every radical lefty in office, in academia and in the media has made them the boogeyman hiding under your bed to keep you guys wetting your pants, crying for your mama and voting Democrat.
