That reminds me when I was in a restaurant and the cook came to my table and took my cooked goose away and replaced it with another, when I asked what was going on, he said " We served you the wrong goose, here is the proper gander. "
It's amazing how the rebels claim to have shot down planes, but now are denying that they have the capability to do so. Morons all around, but the biggest blame lies with Russia for giving their expensive and powerful toys to untrained goons.

In the light of the other planes shot down this week, why on earth was the Malaysian airliner allowed to fly in that area? Other countries weren't allowing their planes in that airspace.
This opens it up for the USA to supply Ukraine with the tools it needs to defend itself against mother Russia
Ha! That's almost exactly what McCain said on CNN, except that he added an emphatic "finally," as in "The U.S. can FINALLY give the Ukraine weapons to defend itself" [not an exact quote but definitely the meaning of what he said].

Of course not. They are the innocent victims of a war raged by Russia.
They are allies of the US/EU and have gladly taken money from the IMF.
Their new government has been approved by the US/EU and got voted into power by an overwhelming majority.
I'll wait to see what the UN says and what real proof is provided.
The Ukraine government saying "Russia did it, not us" is just not proof enough.
The shoot-down may have been a terrible mistake made by Russia - just like when the U.S. shot down an Iranian Airbus commercial flight over Iran airspace in the late 1980s.
