Deporting the kids faster, once the kids are sent back the others in the village won't bother coming.

Of course, we'll get a firm legal opinion on the whole matter once their nuisance lawsuit gets to court.

My prediction: it'll be another colossal embarrassment for Boner and his boys.

Yours?

The same was said about the NLRB lawsuit. The Hobby Lobby lawsuit. etc.

Whatever you say. I don't recall any such discussion of those cases being silly nuisance lawsuits. And it really surprised on one that the right wing supreme court came down on the side of corporatism. They've been very consistent in ruling against the public.

Now, getting back to the role of the president, congress, etc...

The president, in accordance with the constitution, submitted a request to congress regarding the border issue. Since it involved significant domestic spending, it's the responsibility of congress to approve or trash that spending. For nearly the past month, they've been reducing the president's request so that the latest figure (which they themselves rejected) is less than 20% of the original amount.

Yesterday, Boner made a very loud and proud statement to the effect that the president needs to go ahead and act on his own regarding the border situation. After launching a lawsuit the previous day accusing the president of overstepping his executive responsibilities.

Of course, the president has been proceeding in accordance to the 2008 immigration law signed by G W Bush. The law that the TP-GOP now wants to ignore. But they need to legislate something prior to acting, risking legal violation if they don't.

As you can readily see, I'm not the one failing to grasp the situation.

Please contact Boner and the TP-GOP house and urge them to carry out their duties in accordance with the oath they all swore to.

It's their job. They can take their five week vacation afterwards. Besides, they get lots of other extended vacations throughout the year. Strange, I seldom hear right wingers complaining about their vacations, though. Only the president's.

The NRLB was decided 9-0. Even those Obama picked ruled against him.

O.K.

I've already slammed my fingers in this door. Not going to again.
