Isn't the phrase contradictory? People who are addicted to the internet should be better informed no? Also..... the internet and social media are not mutually inclusive. I'm addicted to the vast array of information available, not social media.

Then again, information in it's non biased form (when you can find it) would be the enemy of a person who makes their living out of telling people how and what they should think.

We should start to recognize the reality and virtual worlds. Digital addiction is seeing something beautiful and quantifying it by how many “likes” it will get you.

It is an easy thing to identify and most certainly, not an easy thing to break free from. As with most addictions, digital addiction requires acknowledgment, tolerance, and patience.
