Actually, it is impossible to ignore the vociferousness with which some people insist that computer-using space-travelling people living in the 21st century should live by (some of) the rules developed by Bronze Age sheepherding slave-holding nomads.

Don't get me wrong here, you are welcome to yell all you want. The more you yell, the more ridiculous you look to more and more young people. And that, IMO, is a *good* thing.

Just to clarify, which "God" are we talking about? The one you think is the true "God" or the one that someone else might think is the true "God?"

But is this really true?
"There are currently nineteen states that have legalized same-sex marriage, of those nineteen just three have done so as a result of the popular vote of the people (Maine, 2012; Maryland, 2013; Washington, 2012.) On this topic at least, the desire of the voting public is secondary to the desire of the judicial ruling class. And it is a very small class indeed. Our nation’s direction as it relates to gay-marriage is being determined not by the tabulation of hundreds of thousands if not millions of votes per state. No, it is being determined by men like Richard Young."

"Mr. Young is a U.S. District Court Judge in Indiana who struck down the state’s constitutional definition of marriage (as voted upon by the majority if residents of the state) as being between one man and one woman."

not really. it is the minority forcing their beliefs upon the majority except when the beliefs are someone else's.

No. Not at all.

Looking at other forms of life (mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, insects, spiders) on this planet seem to support that heterosexuality is the normal way of coupling and reproduction. If a gay couple is raising children, what examples in Mother Nature are they going to point to in order to support that their gay sexuality is normal and acceptable? If they have any pets like dogs, cats, mice or a fish tank, their child will see that the normal order of nature is for the males and females of a species to pair off to reproduce.

Van Hollen is a.....well, it rhymes with koosh. Of course he'll appeal it & drag this out to the supreme court. Even though he's not even running for re-election but hey, let's be a jerk about it & go out with a bang!

Legalizing gay/lesbian marriages and legalizing pot are no where near my radar screen! This country and planet earth have soooooo manyyyyy problems, I can think of 50 other things that should be the priority!

Air, Land, and Water Pollution (please note, I did NOT say Global Warming)

dirty rotten politics... not just here, but abroad, and United Nations included.

the rotting of our Constitution Rights and the invasion of our privacy

and the list goes on...............................

let the gays/lesbians marry... it's not like they are going to get pregnant.

You do realize nearly every animal species on Earth engages in homosexuality right? Our closest evolutionary relatives are 100% bisexual as a species. Laysian Albatross were a dwindling population until they increased the number of lesbian couples, which then made the population flourish. Gay couples raise children in nature.
