But then you have nasty comments like the one above that are just plain ugly.
Republicans detest her just as much.

Once a strong point is taken everything around it goes as well. Some pretty dramatic changes are coming. Cracks are already appearing in the GOP. The Tea Party will get several more candidates in office this year, and 2016 will see a lot more change in the GOP. Look for several retirements with Tea Party candidates taking their place and look for a lot more to tack to the right because that's where the wind is blowing.
In other words, they all lost but one, but the tea party is doing better because a few weren't completely flattened by the steam roller like others who were.
The Tea Party had it's moment in 2010, and that moment is now passed and gone.

The establishment Republicans triumphed this year not because of their accomplishments, campaign money, or anything other than the party's base turning away from the radicalism the tea party brought to the GOP.

The faithful voters gave the tea party a chance and it failed to deliver anything at all except for a shutdown. Now they're done with the radical experiment and are going back to what they know.`

The Tea Party is a modern equivalent of the American Socialist Party- a populist party grown from the grass roots up in a negative response to problems of the moment. The Socialists won a few seats and a few elections around 1900, then faded away, never to return.
The Tea Party is now beginning its own fade. It, too, will be gone forever in less than a decade.

Sarah Palin has much less time than that before she is gone for good. She is too obviously greedy for the attention and the money to last much longer.

My guess is after seeing several recent videos of her is that she has been busily drinking away any chances she ever had of accomplishing anything in life except being a professional panhandler and a political gadfly.
