And you wonder why i call him the socialist idiot. If you don't have a strategy...you don't announce to the world and you definitely don't announce to your enemy. IMHO...the socialist idiot can't be that stupid. I think he's nothing more than a muslim sympathizer!
Charles Krauthammer
Quote:
“Look, I thought the president could no longer surprise me,” Krauthammer told Fox News’ Bret Baier. “I was wrong. He shocked me today. The President of the United States, in the middle of a real crisis, a few days after the beheading of an American — deliberately sort of spitting in the face of the country and demonstrating his cruelty — the president gets in front of the world and says, ‘I don’t have a strategy.’
If that is true, don’t say anything!” he exhorted the president. “Why do you announce you don’t have a strategy?”

1. The general public started hearing about ISIS in June. It's currently late August. While I'm sure that Obama and company have heard about them for a bit longer than the general public, it's still early. Developing workable strategies takes time. Chillax.
2. Seriously, unless you're an Islamic extremist, we're all on the same side here. Obama should not be expected to act unilaterally. There is a log of fighting between Republicans and Democrats right now, but both parties have some interest in serving American citizens' interests. This is a time to work together, and Obama should definitely get input from politicians and advisers in both parties.
3. I think Obama has checked out. He's already lost. Much of it was his own doing, although much of it was also well-executed attacks from Republicans. Obama is a bit hypersensitive - he knows he lost, and he's just going to go through the motions now. A similar thing happened with Bush in about 2006. But congrats Republicans on your victory.
Iraq was under attack - heavy attack - over three years ago by these people. Maliki thought he could handle the overtaking of Iraq. They just didn't go by the name if ISIS, ISIL or IS.
Obama never checked in.
Hypersensitive? - he's as cold as an iceberg. There is no emotion behind anything he does.
Or we could just always have no strategy, test some aircraft and new weapons with some live fire tests, and not worry about it until american interests are threatened.
What exactly do all of you armchair generals think our strategy should be?
The first thing is to Elect a leader next time instead of a narcissistic bafoon who is more concerned with his leisure time than our nations interest.
You and the Kraut should hold a conference call with the Pentagon to outline a strategy for victory.
Keep us informed.
If Hagel, Kerry, Clapper, Dempsey, and the rest of Obama's top people would take my call, I'd love to talk to them. I'd start with, what the f is going on. You tell the country IS is beyond anything we've seen, a direct threat to U.S. interests, and we don't have a strategy. I'd ask if IS is getting stronger or weaker by the day. Anyone who answers 'weaker' is out on his behind for lying. Then I tell them to get their f'n azzes to my office now. [I generally don't curse, but I'd be sort of upset that my team still doesn't know what to do.]
The military does not call the shots in US. As a matter of fact, you'd have to be weak to allow the military to run foreign policy. I think it's good to sit down and work on a strategy rather than just jumping into something like we did with in 2003 with Iraq. Only idiots never learn from past mistakes.

The Pentagon needs to hear this.
