America's 18,000 Golf Courses Are Devastating the Environment

Quote:
In the United States, golf courses cover more than 1.7 million acres and
soak up nearly 4 billion gallons of water daily, the institute estimates.
They also use pesticides and fertilizers that contribute to water pollution.

A 1994 review of death certificates for 618 golf course superintendents by
researchers at the University of Iowa's College of Medicine found an
unusually high numbers of deaths from certain cancers, including brain
cancer and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
I wonder if Pres. Obama had a son, would he let him be a golf superintendent? And if not, wouldn't that seem to make him hypocrite in chief?

Oh well, there is an upside for Pres Obama to global warming--more playable days!

You're whining about Obama because people play golf? Maybe you can whine about Obama when a restaurant doesn't cook your food properly either.

This single video explains 99.9% of Obama's policies. (The other .01% is his nearly nonexistent foreign policy)

Of course, this article assumes "climate change" is, as the 'warmers' like to say, "settled science" and not the hoax that it is.

Are you aware of how often obama plays golf? He has singlehandedly contributed to the destruction of the environment more than a hundred people combined.

Typo aside, you see my point. Emotional partisans know Obama plays golf so now just whine about golf.

It's pretty sad when people have to look at videos to get their opinions on things. Incidentally, a very large chunk of Obama's policies were exactly the same as Bush had done or McCain or Romney had proposed to do. Again, more emotional whining. Had Obama an R next to his name, you'd both be tripping over one another to compliment him.

How do you come to such an astute analysis of his post? I never would have guessed he was whining about Obama because people play golf. Very interesting take.

By the way, is "properly" a noun? How do you cook it?

Typo, obviously and it has been corrected. How do I come to that point. Spend a while reading through a dozens of posts by mindless partisans who whine like petulant little children and it becomes quite easy. The forum tends mostly partisan since internet forums are a sausage fest so I typically end up pointing out the stupidity of arguments that people have dreamed up based on ignorance and emotion alone.

It's not that complicated.

Was there a point?

None of this makes sense. How do "emotions" come into play in his OP? Just curious how you come to your conclusions.

Can you explain which of Obama's policies are exactly the same as Bush's? McCain, Romney proposals?

You seem to be hung up on "emotions." But I haven't seen anything intellectual in any of your posts yet. Why don't you respond to some of these posts with something pithy to chew on?
