Are you in favor of women assaulting men because they assume they are "untouchable"? What happened to "equal rights"??? I think it was wrong for Rice to knock the b**ch out, but she was coming at HIM and he has a right to defend himself. There is no rule that as a man you must stand their and get beat on. This is not the movies.

Ray Rice was not terminated because he hit the woman. He was terminated because of the way he acted AFTER she hit the floor.

He hit her first.

You can make up stories until the cows come home.

He hit her. She slapped back. He knocked her cold.

He knocks her out, but if she leaves him it's because his career is finished? Seems like you know more about her than even she does....

A 200 lb. + professional athlete slugs a woman half his size and knocks her unconscious? Looks like felony assault to me.

And some folks wonder why people assume all Fox News viewers are idiots.

A slightly above elementary level understanding of human communication reveals that this is not "the Fox News take on the Ray Rice incident."

If you want to call out a network for their coverage, take a look at ESPN who had Ray Lewis (arrested in relation to a murder) and Keshawn Johnson (arrested for DV) giving their opinions of the incident. I should note that neither were convicted, but I'm not sure they would be the best choices of people to have discussing this topic among the many choices available.

I've watched the Fox video several times now, and although I honestly don't know anything about the personalities involved, the body language and quick segue indicates that although it appears to have been an off-the-cuff comment, at least two of them were uncomfortable with it. I think they knew they were treading on thin ice with that joke, but I genuinely believe it was just an unfiltered moment, not an indication that any of them believe what Rice did was acceptable.
