Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control released data Wednesday revealing that 20 million new sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are diagnosed each year nationwide, costing some $16 billion in taxpayer funds.
Saw this recently and thought it was strange it never made the major news headlines last year. Just serves as a reminder of the consequences of the progressive's mantra "If it feels good, do it". And what a surprise, we're the ones paying for these people's mistakes with our tax dollars.

I cannot open the article. Who are most at risk (other than sexually active people, duh).

Simply because most do not feel that they need to continue to take proper precautions, once more and more people get them their actions will change.

This is a relatively old article, I think, but the std epidemic continues in this country. The most at risk for acquiring a std, 50% of all new STD cases last I read, were 15-24 year olds.
I mentioned that already and it's not that old. It was just posted last year. Still relevant.

Ah, the great slippery slope. The PPACA will require permits to have sex, and procreation will only be allowed in test tubes and implantation so genes can be manipulated and costly disease prevented.... any straying from the program is unpatriotic, irresponsible and will cost tax payers millions more. Look for legislation making sex without the proper paperwork a criminal act.
