I don't know the statistics, of those who had been killed or injured by someone who attacked them with a knife (that was not terrorist driven), but I would imagine that the majority were killed, or injured, by wounds to the torso and not by beheading or attempted beheadings.

Also, just because he worked for that company does not mean that he worked with knives, or even consistantly worked in the areas where knives were used, he was a stocker who just kept the shelves stocked. He was an ex-con, that company wouldn't (or shouldn't) have let him be work with knives or be around the areas where knives were being used. He didn't use a company knife, he went to his home and got one of his own knives and drove back. He left then went back. It would/should be hard to claim that it was a spur of the moment decision to attack co-workers after learning he had been fired since he had a cooling off period while he was going home and going back.
Other things that came out in the press conference today....

Oklahoma beheading suspect charged with murder, could face the death penalty - The Washington Post

Like Nolen and Traci Johnson, one of the women he attacked, had had an argument about race earlier in the day. That Johnson had reported him to management for saying he hated whites. Hmmmmm.....

And some on the networks are now calling it "workplace violence". It's so appalling.

Meanwhile, what has Obama done about this matter? Nothing. Has he offered to console the family of the victim? No. And after all this, I'm not expecting him to, either.

Is the President of the United States of America supposed to get involved in every case of violence committed but some nutjob, really? You might want to read up on his duties, I cannot find them in the description.

So jumping to workplace violence is not jumping to conclusions?

Do you need to be an official member of a terrorist group, with an ISIS photo ID to perform a terrorist act?

So if a convict who became a Muslim in prison (probably primarily for self protection) gets out and robs a 7-11, is that automatically terrorist act?

If he cuts his head off in the name of Islam, maybe so. ISIS leader did not instruct US Muslims to rob 7-11s, but than you are just being either purposely obtuse or you are just being argumentative for argument's sake

That makes it a hate crime as opposed to workplace violence. Or maybe a combination hate crime and workplace violence. But wait...didn't we see his FB page? Definitely some serious political stuff there related to hating America and supporting Jihad. Hmmmm...uncomfortably close to terrorism now aren't we?

Actually it helps

Because for it to be terrorism it has to have a stated purpose or goal. Not just "I hacked the head off of X because I was angry"
