As I asked earlier, what about a jewelry store that has a locked front door and people must be buzzed in. Do they allow 100% of the people who press the buzzer into the store? Isn't the locked door there inherently discriminatory against shady looking people?

Let me know when "shady looking people" become a protected class.

Can you please list all of the protected classes? I just want to be sure I'm not discriminating against one of them.

I can assume, since you mention a wife who owns a business, that you are over 18. That means I can also assume that you went through at least middle school. Please let me know where you got your education that you a) do not know and b) do not know how to use boolean search terms to figure it out on your own. They deserve a strongly worded letter.

Hint: If you type "http://www.google.com" into your browser and then search "Civil Rights Act of 1964," you will find information about federal regulations. Since your wife operates a business in Arkansas, I suggest you ask her about more local regulations as that is something any business owner should know.

She's operating a business without a business license?

Sure, that's easy.

Under Federal law:
Race, color, religion, national origin, and disability.

Under Arkansas law:
Race, religion, national origin, gender, and disability.

Not a good question since they are not the same thing the store is doing it for security reasons, there is no valid security reason to do as the range owner is doing.

As stated earlier, she has a FFL, This throws her into a whole different set of rules.

True, but if she abuses the license to discriminate she will not have one for much longer.
