BTW, is this even a legitimate story? I do not see it anywhere else.
So regardless if the carefully controlled temperature monitoring stations all over the world do not indicate any global warming for almost 18 years now, these paid hacks will use anecdotal evidence of various weather events, and declare them climate change, caused by CO2?
In other words, if they see a heat wave, and don't know what caused it, they will just infer CO2 was the cause, and specifically CO2 produced by human activities, was the cause.
Swell, so anything beyond their current understanding of the planet, they will just assume it's "human-induced global warming ."

Well, it's not affecting the climate so you can move on to the next cause. Since there are about a million times more "greenhouse gasses" if those even exist, that are naturally occurring than man creates.
Yep, it's pretty pathetic to actually try to understand how the climate works and aim for faster, more accurate results in their studies. They should just give up and admit that the hacks and oil companies are right about AGW.

Friederike is a physicist by training but gained a PhD in philosophy of science from the Free University Berlin. She was based at the Alfred-Wegener Institute of Polar and Marine Research in Potsdam during her Diploma Project (1 year) working on atmospheric dynamics in Global Circulation Models. Dr. Heidi Cullen serves as Chief Climatologist for Climate Central — a non-profit science journalism organization headquartered in Princeton, NJ. She is a Visiting Lecturer at Princeton University and a Senior Research Fellow at the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Cullen is the author of The Weather of the Future published by Harper Collins. Before joining Climate Central, where she reports on climate and energy issues, Dr. Cullen served as The Weather Channel’s first on-air climate expert and helped create Forecast Earth, a weekly television series focused on issues related to climate change and the environment. Prior to that Dr. Cullen worked as a research scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, CO. She received the NOAA Climate & Global Change Fellowship and spent two years at Columbia University’s International Research Institute for Climate and Society working to apply long-range climate forecasts to the water resources sector in Brazil and Paraguay. She is a member of the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Society and the Society of Environmental Journalists. Dr. Cullen also serves as a member of the NOAA Science Advisory Board. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and went on to receive a Ph.D. in climatology and ocean-atmosphere dynamics at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University.
If these people actually knew anything, then they would have undergrads in economics and political science and would be spending all of their time posting on their blogs about how climatologists are all stupid unless they say that AGW isn't happening.
