The United States is one of the world’s most prosperous economies, with a gross domestic product that exceeded that of any other country last year. However, a vibrant economy alone does not ensure all residents are well off.

GDP includes the money the government prints which has actually been harmful to the economy so you have to question anything they write from here on out.

A large GDP does not necessarily represent a vibrant economy. The government prints money because it's not.

you notice there all southern states almost, i think its rigged, mississippi is a great place to live

I would MUCH rather live in Mississippi than California,NY or Illinois..none of which made the list I see..I agree,its rigged.

What's wrong with Illinois? (and don't say taxes, nobody likes paying taxes and somebody has to pay for MS)

These "10 Best lists" on best places to live are dumb. It all depends on your point of view and what you make as a priority. Folks who hate cold weather would never take this list seriously.
