Here's the reality -
She's a nurse.
She broke a mandatory quarantine.
As a nurse, her license could be in jeopardy for intentionally breaking a mandatory quarantine.
Nurses have an obligation to follow public health laws even if they do not agree with them

She didn't break a mandatory quarantine. She hasn't been served with any papers from Maine placing her in a quarantine.
And her license isn't in jeopardy. If she chooses to fight a quarantine order in the courts, her license isn't in jeopardy.

There is no such place as Ebolaland. And if you are talking about the affected countries, please be aware that 99% of the people living in those places are not infected with Ebola. Total population equals 100%. 99% are Ebola-free.

At the same time, if any of us were forced to stay home from work, and forgo our paycheck, we might fall very behind on our bills, and suffer for it. So if a state is going to guarantee someone against their will, should there be some type of protections so we don't get punished by our creditors, land lords, or lose our jobs or suffer business loses, etc...

Only in the imagination of the ignorant. Medical opinion is overwhelmingly in agreement that she poses no risk to the public as long as she self-monitors for early signs.

Did some research. Her license is in jeopardy if she violates a court order, which the state of Maine has not gotten yet. So, I stand corrected. Interesting to note, her license is in Texas. I wonder what she'll do if they do get the court order. Do y'all think she would comply or not?
