It is remarkable how evident it is when the stimulus was enacted. Good find!

That was, at least, a very fun map to watch (it took me a minute to figure out the hit the 'go' button to make it active). It was interesting to see the orange bubble for the Hurricane Katrina area suddenly blossum.

Man, that also shows the effects of Clinton signing the China Free Trade Agreement in late 2000.
The rust belt began almost immediately.

The map makes it really easy to see how badly the US economy crated in 2008. It is remarkable that we are back on our feet already.

2 years? The only way we would have gotten out of the biggest recessions since the Great Depression would have been to create another bubble, something this country did not need.
